Will India beat South Africa this time?

Cricket World Cup 2015 is running with a great enthusiasm. The squads are bidding their destiny in every match. Coming Sunday on 22 February 2015 India is scheduled to fight against their ‘On field’ enemy South Africa. In the previous match with its colossal rival Pakistan, India knocked them down and followed the tradition of never being defeated by Pakistan in world cup. But this Sunday team India has to pull up their socks and the crowd supporters have to hold their breath as the match is against South Africa as there is a myth that India can never win against South Africa in world cup.

Taking a look over the South- Africans performance in the previous matches of world cup, they look quiet unconvincing. The team having batting line up of Hashim Amla, AB de Villiers, Quintob de Kock, Faf du Plesses and David Miller can give a tough target and lift up the scorecards to the ultimate heights. But according to their performances it looks as if the South Africans are not awake yet. In a warm up match with the squad of New Zealand, South Africa has to be encountered with the ruthless defeat by 134 runs. This was one of the scariest nightmares to South Africa as New Zealand is no world defeater and South Africa are those who chased a huge target of 434 by Australia, ending up with a score of 438 and making a world record. Coming to the bowling attack by South Africans, it is also asleep. The bowlers gave only 3 wickets against Zimbabwe in 36 overs and also gave 214 runs. Although they took seven more wickets quickly but the performance against Zimbabwe was not the one what was expected.

On other hand, Indian team in previous match of the world cup against Pakistan was quiet good. Giving a target of 300 runs and a century by Virat Kohli, the runs added by Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina made the team’s batting line set for the further challenges. Also, the bowling heroes of India made Pakistan all wickets down.

Comparing all these performances of the Squads, we can say that Indian cricket fans and lovers can hope of winning against South Africa. It can be a perfect Sunday for Indian supporters as the game can result to be the full course of entertainment and excitement. Khelkit.com an online sports products portal for the promotion of every sport bids good luck to the Indian Cricket Team.
