NO MONEY, NO BASKETBALL IN INDIA

Indian basketball team for men is controlled by basketball Federation of India (FIBA).This Indian team has represented India in many International matches. It has qualified around 24 times for FIBA Asia. It has also won three gold medals and one silver medal at the South Asian games. Although Indian Men basket ball team is doing quite well but still they lack that spirit to qualify the Olympics for for that matter NBA as well.

In India focus is given to very few games like cricket, football etc.Basketball is not taken on a serious note. There are many budding players out here who has that spirit to play well and compete at international level as well. They just require help from the government. They need proper training, good nutrition and good coaches who can train them well. They require good training academies. In short these players need money succeed well. If we take a deep look then we can figure out that the international level players are paid for their performance at every game they play. Similarly if the same thing is done for the Indian Basketball players then they will get enough encouragement to play well.
In a game like basketball height, built and weight does not matter at all. What matters the most is good training and good facilities In India there is a lack of everything from good infrastructure to good trainers. If the government focus on all these things then India as well can produce good players and can make a good use of their player’s talent. Even basket ball can become as famous as cricket in India only if government lend a helping hand. Hence this proves the title of this article very well that without money basketball cannot become famous in India at any cost. Instead of wasting these budding players talent around India should start focusing on this matter.
