Fatehpur is a city located in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The city lies between two major rivers - Ganga River and Yamuna River. This is among a few oldest cities in the state. Fatehpur was known as Antardesh i.e. fertile region between two rivers and Madhyadesh i.e. central region.

The city has a great historic importance.
