1.    History of Rugby: The game originated in 1823 in England, according to the tradition, the game is said to be started when a Rugby School Student named William Webb Ellis playing soccer picked up the ball and ran down field with it instead of kicking it. The style was adopted by the other schools and Universities of England in the mid- 19^th century. The Rugby was introduced into the United States, but faded as football developed. The rules of the game changed frequently after the origin as to make it more entertaining for the spectators. The game holds great significance in the culture and heritage of the areas where it is played. 

2.     What is different about the game: The game of rugby is the game of team integrity. Those who play this game of rugby, they easily learn to trust each other. Rugby is played by trusting each other and there is always the undeniable unity between the rugby players. 3.       Types of rugby: rugby was developed in the Rugby School. There are two main types of Rugby that are Rugby League and Rugby Union. Although these forms share the same objective, but their specific rules are different. Earlier, both the forms were similar. But after 1895 schism, changes have taken place in the law of both the Rugby League and Rugby Union, making a slight difference in the forms and rules of both.

4.    Difference between Rugby and American Football: American football is a game that is played between two teams and consists of 11 players in each of the two teams, with unlimited substitutions. The game involves the complex strategies. On the other hand Rugby is the blend of American football and the soccer. There are 15 players in each team and the game is played in the rectangular field. Both the games differ in variety of parameters.
